To be effective bridge-builders and change-makers, young people need to develop their leadership skills and self-awareness, and given skills and opportunities to lead. At EWI we give a small number of young people the opportunity to lead or be part of a team, helping to organise one aspect of EWI’s work. 

We organise training programs that complement the education that students are receiving at university. These courses include:

Young Leaders Training - a unique training course and certification designed to maximise your effectiveness as a leader. Includes a range of topics related to leadership, communication skills, and social responsibility, and each session features a talk by a different Jordanian leader.  

Work Life Skills - This course focuses on helping students to prepare for the work place and to stand out from the crowd.  Each session a guest speaker speaks from their personal experiences and shares their insights into their field.  

Crossing Cultures Training– This course helps Jordanian youth prepare for interaction and relationship with people of other cultures, and helps them to be effective bridge-builders.
