“This ‘exchange’ far exceeded our expectations. Your students were wonderful ambassadors! They were open and eager to learn and provided a great example and cross section of Arab and specifically Jordanian culture. The best testimony to what was accomplished can be summed up in the statements that two of the students made during our last gathering. Travis, an American, said, “I can never think the same about the Middle East again.” Ra’fat, a Jordanian, said, “This feels like family.” The hugs, tears and quickly scribbled Facebook contact info at the airport curb made it clear that some life long friendships were being forged. Already the Americans are praying about how and when to go to Amman. I am looking forward to doing this again!”
